Baltimore Protesters Don't Want Justice Either; They Just Want Revenge

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake tried to take back her comments about allowing protesters "to destroy." But it's a bit hard to take back a comment that was made and recorded on video. She claims it was out of context, but the video makes clear the context. It's a different age we live in so apologies often don't match up the the video tape. That's something, BTW, that Hillary Clinton doesn't understand as she campaigns like its the 90s..but that's another subject. The things that happened last night were just so incredibly insane but most of it was allowed in the name of "protest." Quite frankly, I don't think even the "protesters" want justice. they want revenge. It is a repeat of Ferguson all over again. An injustice has not been committed yet, or at least not proven yet, until the investigation is done. There are some angry people in this country and these events are an excuse to loot and vandalize. It doesn't help that you have race baiters like Al Sharpton or Elijah Cummings encouraging it.

Mayor Rawlings-Blake didn't help, but seemed to help escalate it:
To do everything that they could to make sure that the protestors were able to exercise their right to free speech It's a very delicate balancing act because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well, and we work very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate."
Then yesterday, on her Facebook page, the mayor said:
I want to clarify—I did not instruct police to give space to protesters who were seeking to create violence or destruction of property. Taken in context, I explained that, in giving peaceful demonstrators room to share their message, unfortunately, those who were seeking to incite violence also had space to operate. And we worked very hard to put ourselves in the best position to deescalate those instances.
Last night, as the city descended into chaos, she told the media “I never said, nor would I ever say, that we are giving people space to destroy our city, so my words should not be twisted.”  The latest wave of rioting has been the most destructive thus far since the Gray incident. It began around 3pm yesterday afternoon. {per Townhall]
